Rod Eichenberger

Florida State University Professor Emeritus Rodney Eichenberger’s career has included public school teaching, full-time and part-time church music positions and professorships at the University of Washington the university of Southern California and Florida State University. Beyond conducting choirs at these universities he led graduate programs in conducting. His CDs “What They See Is What You get” published by Hinshaw Music and “Enhancing Musicianship Through Movement” published by Santa Barbara have been widely used in university conducting classes.

 

He has conducted or led clinics in all 50 states and conducted more than 80 high school Allstate choirs and guest conducted in most European countries Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Brazil and Argentina. The conducting workshop he leads on the Oregon coast will be held for its 33rd meeting the last full week of July.
